Lucky Shamrock Treasure Hunt

Now that we are homeschooling and confined to our house, we are in desperate need of fun learning activities for the kids! That's why we created this LUCKY SHAMROCK TREASURE HUNT.   It's time to get creative!   Jason was inspired last night and decided to create a St. Patrick's Day Treasure hunt. He literally JUST created it. St. Patrick's Day Secret Message Puzzle for kids

Brew has been begging for more secret messages or mini-treasure hunt puzzles (that end with a prize), so here is a St. Patrick's Day Themed Secret Message Puzzle to solve.   This activity does require you to hide something behind a "green object." When your child solves the secret message, it reads: "Look behind a green object."  Find something green in your house (plants work great) and hide a little prize behind it (coin, piece of chocolate, or whatever you want)! Math Mistake: Memorizing Math Facts Too Early

Are you making this HUGE mistake when you are helping your child learn math? We think that kids need to memorize all their math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) so that they will be able to tackle more complex math problems.   However, let me share with you WHY we should not put our focus on memorizing math facts. St. Patrick's Day Printable Coding Activity

Time to get in the mood for St. Patrick's Day with this fun little leprechaun activity! Here is a screen-free coding activity for your little thinker! Coding is the method of giving instructions to perform a specific task.  This unplugged paper coding activity has two different levels for kids to solve.
